Investments
Investment or investing is taken from the root word ‘invest’, which is an asset that is held to have some recurring or capital gain. It is an asset that is expected to give returns without any work done. The term is used differently–economically and financially–where in economists refer to a real investment like machines or real estate, while financial economists refer to a financial asset, like money that is placed in a bank or market which may be used to purchase a real asset.
Investments are done with great care. Before an investor ventures with a certain product or property, feasibility studies and evaluations are conducted to fin out if their investment will be productive or not. A good example of an investment is real-estate where in an investor will invest hi assets on a piece of land. But before they proceed with the investment, they look at the location of the property and take into consideration its accessibility and risks of having it at the current location.
